Hurricane Relief

Supporting Beekeepers in Hurricane Relief

Both Hurricane Helene and Milton have left a wake of destruction in the Southeast. The crucial role that bees play in agriculture has highlighted the need for support in sustaining colonies that have survived the recent weather events. Forage has been stripped from plants.

We are working alongside Greater Good Charities to identify beekeepers in need. If you are in an area impacted by Hurricane Helene or Hurricane Milton, please complete their Beekeeper Disaster Assessment Form.

Relief efforts specifically for beekeepers are underway. There are several ways you can help:

In partnership with Greater Good Charities, Mann Lake will be hosting a Hurricane Relief Event in Winter Haven on Saturday, October 19th.
301 Bert Schulz Blvd. Winter Haven, FL 33881
9am - 3pm
9am: Coffee and donuts will be available
10:30am: Lunch will be served (burgers and hot dogs)
1pm: Feed donation distribution will begin

All customers will need to come into the facility to fill out paperwork for Greater Good Charities in order to receive their feed donations.

Together, we can help beekeepers in need. For every pound of Ultra Bee Dry purchased from October 14-18, we will match it and donate pollen substitute to beekeepers in need. Every contribution will help with hurricane relief efforts, providing vital feed remaining colonies will need to survive the coming months without forage.
