    Good Quality Beekeeper Friendly Suit

by Tricia on Jun 11, 2024

I tend bees in Texas. Summers are sweltering. The ProVent Beekeeping Suit keeps you protected AND cool. The materials are very durable and have maximal breathability. Sizing runs large, so consider when ordering. Highly recommend.

    Not the best

by Matthew Cavenaugh on Jun 08, 2024

The general design of the suit is good, much like other high end suits, except for the veil. It comes down way too low, I find my self holding the front up closer to my face so I can inspect the bottoms of boxes when looking for swarm cells. I've also been strung through the suit 3 times now. 2 of the stings were not full on stings, more like just the tip of the stinger, not so bad. But I have gotten one film on sting with the stinger left in my arm, through the suit sleeve. I have 3 layer suits (that I was trying to replace) that I have never been stung through. This lighter puffy mesh material just isn't as good.

    ProVent Beekeeping Suit

by Michael on May 11, 2024

This brand was great 5-6 years ago. The last 2 years the fabric is thinner, the holes larger and the bees sting right through it. A smaller size gives a wedgie while a larger size lays in flats instead of bunching up for extra thickness. You'd think there would be concern, however each time informing mann lake they just offer a refund.

    What changed?

by Henry Balding on Apr 20, 2024

I’ve had a pro vent full suit for years. Finally it was time for a new one. I’m now getting stung through the suit on a regular basis. The new one appears to be of a thinner construction. I’ll be going back to a regular vented suit I guess.
