Description
This premium wax dipped screened bottom board is made in the USA, wax dipped in a proprietary, bee friendly wax blend specifically formulated to enhance longevity of your woodenware. Woodenware is dipped at a high temperature, sterilizing the box, boiling moisture out and allowing the wax to impregnate the wood, resulting in up to 25 years of use in the field.
What’s Included?
This bottom comes fully assembled and ready to use in your apiary. It features a stapled-in screen that is reinforced to add extra strength. The slanted front of the bottom provides a landing board for your bees. It includes a grid Corex debris board for monitoring mites and an entrance reducer. The entrance reducer is not wax-dipped.
