Aside from a small ding, my tank arrived in good condition and in a reasonable amount of time. Delivery is by freight, so make sure the truck has room enough to drop off the pallet. I discovered that the tank was made by Quarti Beekeeping Supply in Italy. The design of the honey gate made it a bit difficult to tighten down, but I managed it. Even with the legs position for maximum height, a 5 gallon bucket won’t clear the honey gate without tipping it slightly. The tank is spot/pressure welded, not mig/tig welded, and the seams are sealed with silicone. According to customer service, the silicone is food grade. I like the angled rack that fits on top of the tank and provides a place to hold/rest the frame while uncapping with a knife or plane. I processed my honey at a friend’s place this year, so I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, which is why I gave it an optimistic 3 stars.
