Description

Beekeepers of all skill levels can save time and energy during the extraction process by utilizing high-quality radial honey extractors from Mann Lake.

What Are Radial Extractors?

Extracting honey can be done in various ways, but using a radial extractor is the most efficient way to harvest your bees’ hard work.

To extract the honey, the honeycomb frames are placed inside a spinning reel, creating a centrifugal force that removes the stored honey from each frame without damaging the comb. You’ll no longer have to turn each frame to extract honey manually!

Because the extractor is radial, the frames have honey extracted from both sides at the same time, making harvesting honey a more streamlined and quicker process.

    18/9 Frame Motorized Extractor

by Dave on Sep 09, 2024

I had one of the older models, where the motor sat horizontal above the lids for 8 years but sold to upgrade to a large model. It did a great job of extracting, although I did have to mount it on a wooded box/skid, I built for it, since it has a tendency to rock and want to move at high speed around 60, which is typical for most extractors of this style. I would recommend this for a smaller scale beekeeper.
